This article is anecdotal, I discuss the rumors that followed a complaint of sexual abuse that occurred in a traditional Catholic University of Chile and then do an analysis of the Little Red Riding Hood, because I believe that messages of this story is very similar to the surrounding social judgments a situation of sexual violence.
Finally the situation was this:
A young intern supervisor visited his teacher in his office at the university, and he tried to rape her, she escapes and makes a complaint.
The rumor spread like fire on gunpowder and armed both sides, his and hers, and circulated three versions of the facts, these versions are very stereotypical and ridiculous, they show the caricature that is to change the facts to fit into the traditional idea of good and evil.
1 st Revision: She is pure and he is a filthy degenerate.
Scene 1: He was in his office, probably masturbating to pornographic magazines or pictures of children.
Scene 2: She knocks on the door and walks into his office, she is concerned for his performance in his practice, he wears a dress revealing nothing, or settler, say nun in street clothes, plus she has never smiled and has given the slightest sign of familiarity with it, nor no man ever.
Scene 3: He leaps on her, and tries to start the laundry, even broke his pants.
Scene 4: She gets away and makes a complaint.
2 nd Revision: Spite
Scene 1: He works diligently in his office and has only high and noble thoughts.
Scene 2: She goes to the office, her cleavage is more revealing than X-ray, its momentum is that of a rhinoceros in heat and under the influence of amphetamines. She is offered, he refuses, she attacks, he defends and can finally she retires vowing revenge.
Scene 3: She makes the claim
3 rd version: She asked for
She was always flirtatious, and always wore revealing clothes. She has spent years dabbling with everything that moves, and when the teacher does not take it anymore (because men have instincts and needs of women should not cause), she refused and on top of what chuecura complaint.
Before continuing I want to establish something, in theory, everyone are free to do whatever we want to unless we do harm, because we have no otrxs right to harm. Then the clothes as it is, nor the places that we justify an attack of any kind, it is terrible that women live their lives with little fear, read as "exposure" and "found" something nasty shame should be one of those and those who attack other men and women, not the victims of aggression.
These rumors reminded me of a classic story for children: The Little Red Riding Hood, please take the time to read the story, to tell you that my analysis is based on the idea that this story is an allegory on violence sexual, and that we can find stereotypes, about what it means to be a man, a young woman, and in general as this young woman is beating about the precautions that all the time, which obviously impacts the quality of life and quality of the relationships it may establish. Besides shaping the social view is an act of this kind.

Little Red Riding Hood in Grimm brothers' version
was once a very pretty girl. His mother made him a red cape and the little girl took her so often that everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood.
One day his mother asked him to carry some cakes to her grandmother who lived across the forest, recommending that she did not linger by the way, then cross the forest was very dangerous because there was always lurking wolf.
Little Red Riding Hood picked up the basket of cakes and set off. The girl had to go through the woods to get to Granny's house, but he was not afraid because he was always there with many friends, the birds, squirrels ...
suddenly saw the wolf, which was huge in front of her.
- Where you going, girl? - Asked the wolf with his hoarse voice.
- A Grandma's house - Little Red Riding Hood said.
- not far - the wolf thought to himself, turning around. Little Red Riding Hood put
his basket on the grass and picking flowers entertained: - The wolf is gone, he thought, I have nothing to fear. Grandma will be very happy when I bring a beautiful bouquet of flowers in addition to the cakes.
Meanwhile, the wolf went to Granny's house, knocked gently at the door and opened the old thinking it was Little Red Riding Hood. A hunter passing by had seen the arrival of the wolf.
The wolf ate Grandma and put the unfortunate pink hat, got into bed and closed his eyes. He did not wait long, as Red Riding Hood arrived quickly, all excited. The girl went to bed and saw that his grandmother was so changed.
- Grandmother, Granny, what big eyes you have!
- the better to see - said the wolf trying to imitate the voice of the grandmother.
- Granny, Grandma, what big ears you have!
- better to hear you - continued the wolf.
- Granny, Grandma, what big teeth you have!
- are for ... mejoooor eat! - And saying, the big bad wolf pounced on the girl and devoured, as he had done with the grandmother.
Meanwhile, the hunter had been worried and thinking guess the bad intentions of a wolf, decided to take a look to see if all went well at Granny's house. He hired a Serrador and together arrived. They saw the front door open and the wolf lying in bed asleep so sick he was.
The hunter took his knife and slit the belly of the wolf. Granny and Little were there, alive!.
To punish the bad wolf, the hunter filled his belly with stones and then shut again. When the wolf awoke from his heavy sleep, he felt very thirsty and went to a nearby lake to drink. As the stones were heavy, fell into the head pond and drowned.
As Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother, did not suffer more a big scare, but Red Riding Hood had learned the lesson. Grandmother promised not to talk to any stranger who was in the road. From now on, follow the wise advice of your Grandma and your Mom.

Analysis
The idea that this story of Little Red Riding Hood, is an allegory of sexual violence is not only mine, as I try to establish some of the pictures, but in my google search on the red riding hood, I found nothing allegorical drawings on sexual violence, including one of a werewolf raping Riding Hood, which did not include, but between which if present can see some very sexualized. I also included some where da Riding Hood and win the fight. Now some ideas:
To consider that the victim was not "the look" is the requirement of innocence, which means someone with no will and no life of its own. For example, Little Red Riding Hood is blamed for picking flowers, the only act of free will that was not to blame for being in the woods, because I was there on behalf and do something "noble", plus the act of gathering flowers or talk to the wolf had nothing to do with the decision is to attack.

see the wolf as a metaphor for sex offender, you can see from the story who is a vicious sexual assaults, and is an animal that is subhuman, imagine someone who compulsively masturbates and can not speak fluently without drooling, or that inappropriate comments. If you think this is the cultural idea of the aggressor, many aggressors and perpetrators go unpunished, because someone who can come forward and have social skills, does not fit this profile brutish.
Imagine Little Red Riding Hood was gone into the woods to smoke marijuana and relax, that is would be someone with life itself, whose activities may be questioned, since they are not noble, or disinterested per se, then we could that he deserved it just because they expose this as the premise that the wolf has certain needs that must never ever "cause" unless for reasons of force majeure, and cause, I mean just being physically close, or talk.

Wolf, Hunter and Little, show the cultural idea of power and the behavior and motivations of men and women. Since Riding Hood is nice and obedient, a flat character, not much will, no own ideas, which should follow "sensible recommendations" of their elders. The wolf is the man who uses violence to assault and satisfy their instincts, the hunter represents the man who uses violence "altruistic" also represents the social trial and lynching. Now the figure of the wolf reminds me of something my friend told me Alexandra, on the cultural idea about men: "say that feminists hate men, that's not true, what happens is that we expect over them. Those that hate are the ones that look like animals in permanent estrus, violent and unable to think of something more than sex and having some kind of feeling high and interest aside, someone from whom nothing can be expected. "
most dangerous thing about this innocent story is that it assumes that the victim is forcibly a woman, she can not be victimizing, and a man can not be a victim. He is the aggressor and is always violent and to protect or abuse.

Finally the whole idea of how sexual violence happens, this stereotype, as a friend told me that she teaches self-defense: the idea of a stranger who jumps out from behind a bush is inaccurate, most Sometimes the victim knows who assaulted her or him, which is usually someone they know and with whom she has a trust relationship. The Moral of the story is to stay indoors and not go outside or have contact with strangers, but the reality is that sexual assault rarely happens on the street.
